Updates on the Inn & Our Practices

If you’ve stayed with us before, you know our intimate inn is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, offers great access to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and overlooks nothing but the Smoky Mountains. Having a getaway to look forward to is such an uplifting thought. Many of us enjoy that circled date on the calendar, knowing we can get away from the stressors of everyday life and enjoy the company of the people we are with.

We are not taking the current situation lightly and intensifying our already stringent cleaning procedures based on the CDC and the WHO recommendations. All rooms are receiving additional deep cleaning when unoccupied. We want to care well for our guests, as well as our staff. We are limiting occupancy to 4 booked rooms a night to make sure there are not more than the recommended number of people in the inn at one time.

To offer you more peace of mind, you can request that breakfasts be taken in your room. In-room accommodations can also be made with reservations for dinner at the Mountain View Dining Room. And don’t forget – The Mountain View Dining room is an intimate setting where social distancing can be practiced while still enjoying an AMAZING meal.

If you already have travel plans with us and they need to change, we understand. Would you consider one of two things. Either simply moving your dates to later in the year or taking your deposit back as a gift card? This will save you the cancellation fee as well as give you a trip to look forward to when this season is over. Gift cards also greatly help our small lodging business during this difficult season.

And speaking of gift cards, we know many of you wait all year for our Christmas gift card special – but this year you can enjoy it right now. Check out our 20% limited time bonus on all gift card purchases.

The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is still open and while many things may be canceled, the outdoors is not canceled. Nature is not canceled. Exploring a new trail is not canceled. Enjoying a waterfall is not canceled.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
