Autumn is one of the best times of year for deserts, too. The fresh bursts of summer berries have passed, but rich, warm apple pies and pear tarts await. Then there is the desert of all deserts, the Crème Brulee. Nothing matches a perfectly concocted burnt cream. Cool and creamy on the inside, with a hardened sweet crust on top….
